QLD Parent & Son/Daughter Championship

In 1997 Paul Orchid, the then Club Professional at Gympie Golf Club, initiated the State Event – Father and Son Championship. Ian Triggs, Colin Baynton, Mark Victorson and Brett Bridgeman are among some of the professionals that appear on the winner’s trophy.

At the suggestion of Golf Queensland the event this year has been opened up to include our lady golfers thus allowing a wider combination of competitors i.e. father and son or daughter or mother and son or daughter.

Minimum prize money of $2000.00 ($1,000.00 Gross, $1000.00 Nett) will be provided for professional players. Full details of the conditions of play are available on the entry form.

The Saturday preceding this event will be a family and guest day at the cost of green fees only.
